What to Expect
Individual Intuitive Counseling Sessions
Please read over this information fully, as doing so will assist you to derive the most benefit from your session with Elana.
As your session will contain a lot of information, as well as have an energetic component to it, it is best to shut off any distractions before your session begins (i.e. cell phone ringer, notifications on the device you are using for your Zoom call, do not drive during your session, etc.).
At the time of your session, please click the Zoom link you were sent via email.
If you scheduled a phone session, Elana will call you at the time of your session at the phone number you provided to her. If you prefer to switch a Zoom session to a phone session and you live within the United States, you can do so by emailing info@elanakilkenny.com at least 48 hours before your session date.Please do not send any questions or information about yourself prior to your session as it is best for Elana to be as neutral as possible in terms of information before going into your session.
If you have specific questions you want to discuss with Elana, it is best to write them down before your session and have them with you at the time of your session.
During your session, please ask your most important questions first! Answers can be multi-layered and you don’t want to run out of time for a thorough answer. Please note, we cannot guarantee that all of your questions will be answered in one session.Many clients feel it is beneficial to record their session, so feel free to record your session if you wish to on your end.
Have a pen and paper handy to jot down some notes.
After a session, some people feel more energized, inspired or more optimistic. Others feel the need to rest and process. Some people might feel more tired or emotional (this is usually because they are processing elements of their session that they might find more difficult). And others feel their energy level is no different.
There is no right or wrong way to experience a session.
It is helpful to drink a little extra water on the day of the session and to have a sense of how you process things to know if you need to create a little more space in your schedule to process on the day of your session.Once your session is over it will not be possible for Elana to answer any questions outside of session time, as to tune-in requires her to set aside specific time to prepare and be in the right space to clearly be attuned to guidance.
